The London Stock Exchange welcomed its biggest new entrant in more than a decade on July 18. Pharmaceuticals giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), one of the top FTSE 100 stocks, has divested its consumer healthcare unit to focus on new medicines and vaccines. Each gsk shareholder will receive one share in the new Haleon company for every gsk share held. Haleon was originally valued at £30.5 billion ($36.4 billion).
